Cleveland Cedar is one of just a few lumber yards that do their own prestaining on site. This gives us complete control of the staining process. We make sure the cedar we start with is dry and at the right temperature before we start staining.

At Cleveland Cedar we pride ourselves in taking the time to make sure you get the right stain for the look you want.

Because we are a small company we are not locked in to just one kind of stain. We can use Benjamin Moore, Cabot, Sikkens and any other stain you prefer.

As you can note in the picture, we hand-apply our stains with a roller, then back wipe with a brush to give you a smooth finish. I have designed my own special drying rack so the wood lay flat, with room for air to circulate to let the stain dry and level out properly.

Whether you need a smooth or rough finish, primers with laytex top coats, solid oil OVT's, or just a natural stain we will help you get what you want.
